• Postgraduate training in General Pediatrics at McMaster University (Ontario, Canada)
• Continued his subspecialty training in Pediatric Emergency at McGill University (Montreal, Canada).
• Served with several local medical organization for over 17 years at Mubarak AlKabeer Hospital, Ahmadi Hospital and AlSeef Hospital. He established The Pediatric Emergency Units in AlSeef Hospital and the new Ahmadi Hospital.
• Currently, Dr. AlZayed is running the Pediatric Emergency Unit at Ahmadi Hospital.
